Yoko Komatsu Asami Nakahara were 2 close friends who's families got killed by a vampire. Asami took Yoko to the Hyakuya Orphanage when Yoko's family got killed, by a vampire she had a situation with. They were glad that they finally had a new family, until a virus spread across Japan, affecting everyone that's not 13 years and below. They were held captive in the vampire's grip until they decided to escape. Then things got worse.
