John has been depressed since his best friend Sherlock Holmes committed suicide whilst talking to him on the phone. Nearly a year later, John meets someone who makes the journey just a little easier. He gets married, but still wishes the man that was so special to him was there to give a speech as his best man and best friend. John ends up with a little bundle of joy called Hamish Sherlock Watson. But John still isn't as happy as he should be, because there's still that one person missing.

Sherlock doesn't believe in coincidences or fate, but bumping into Hamish Watson one afternoon is definitely something similar...
