The Thicket of Elsewhere

Mythology is not dead.

It survives quietly in rain-soaked forests, hidden markets, abandoned shrines, and places most people have forgotten how to see.

Seventeen-year-old satyr Elio spends his life wandering that hidden world, documenting mythological creatures, sacred plants, forgotten gods, and ancient places before they disappear forever. Armed with little more than a satchel full of journals, a portable CD player, and an unhealthy tendency to adopt dangerous things, Elio is far more comfortable studying mythology than becoming part of it.

Then he finds the wrong cat.

What begins as a quiet journey of observation slowly turns into something far stranger after Elio is entrusted with the Thicket of Elsewhere, a living sanctuary created to preserve endangered mythological life. But as myths begin vanishing and hunters emerge from the shadows, Elio realizes that recording the world may no longer be enough to save it.

Especially when the creature sleeping beside his campfire might grow into one of mythology's most feared monsters...
