Tyler Joseph isn't the best kid to hang out with.

I mean, sure, he's got good grades, but he's not necessarily valedictorian level. And he doesn't really do anything 'bad'... Well- He doesn't really do anything at all. His friends have to force him to hang out with them, he has to be convinced to leave his room, and that gets exhausting. So of course, not many people stick around after a while of seeing that his life is a strict self-made schedule of school, and home.

But that's fine. Tyler Joseph didn't like crowds, and he wouldn't appreciate one at his funeral.

Josh Dun had been homeschooled since the seventh grade due to his growing anxiety, and he's grown too comfortable with staying locked up in his room all hours of the day. He took it upon himself to use senior year as his way to get himself back in the world - to experience 'the best years of his life', to see if it's anything worth staying for.

So, after both boys force themselves out of their holes and go to Jenna's senior party, Josh Dun drunkenly messages Tyler Joseph, possibly saving Tyler's life.

Though, one problem. The thought of Josh revealing himself to someone who he's grown to enjoy talking to, makes it all too real, and makes his plan to disappear that much harder.
