17-year-old Riley Winters has a somewhat normal life. She goes to school, has a job, and a best friend who she can be herself with. Until a mysterious boy shows up and turns Riley's world upside down. She instantly and strangely confides in him from the get go, even though she shouldn't. And when Vance reveals a startling secret, she realizes they have more in common than she ever though she could have with anyone.
