Mae La was just a small child when Krypton fell, barely three, she didn't even remember what it looked like. Her parents, friends of Jor-El, sent her down with Kal to live on earth. When they entered the Earth's atmosphere, they separated, landing in different parts of Smallville. Mae was raised by two humble people in Smallville, Jessie Richards- a librarian working for the public library -and Henry Richards- one of Jonathan Kent's buddies who helped on the farm. When the Richards adopted Mae they had given her the name "Margaret." Margaret and Clark grew up together without a clue that they were the same or that they had interacted before. But as they both fight to keep their secrets hidden, they accidently reveal something more personal.
