Arnold Rimmer x OC

Arnold Rimmer and Vivian Holster. These two would never be seen in the same room, let alone in a relationship. Vivian is the Captain's daughter, and Rimmer wants to become an officer. Therefore, in Rimmer's thinking, he has to get close with the Captain's daughter to try and get a spot as an officer instead of learning how to be one. However, as Rimmer started getting really close, still thinking he was actually getting attached, a radiation leak wiped out the whole crew including him. Vivian and Dave Lister were in stasis. The cat, the reason Lister and Viv were in stasis, had evolved into a human. It has been 3 million years. When Viv and Lister come out of stasis they are met with Rimmer. Rimmer and Vivian start talking again as if their closeness never went, Rimmer for some reason was still trying to be an officer so thought he had no emotional attachment to her. But down the line of trying to get closer to Vivian for his own gain Rimmer realises he might have fallen for the most selfless person known to man.
