Bella is a border collie living a simply life with her family. That is, until a war separates her from the people she loves. Now she must go on a quest to reunite with them, all while escaping death, which lurks around every corner. Along the way, she'll visit the front lines, meet new friends, and gain wisdom beyond her species.

Set during World War I, this is a historical fiction novel from the point of view of a dog from Britain. While most facts are correct (to the extent of my knowledge) the plot is completely made up. Also there are a lot of references scattered throughout the story of things people have said/written that I liked. See if you can find them all! Also contains scenes of violence and death.
