"She wrote the same books that I read too many of- the stories about the heroines that were rebellious, strong willed and had good hearts. I made myself a character in her book, but now I wasn’t sure if I was any of those things- I was just blind."

Amelia, a resilient young woman, was raised in a small town burdened by generational poverty. Her family struggled to make ends meet while surrounded by a community of wealthy individuals with a history of questionable dealings. Despite her circumstances, Amelia possessed an unwavering determination to change her fate. As a child, Amelia observed the stark contrast between her family's struggles and the lavish lifestyles of the wealthy crooks. The town's elite seemed untouchable, using their power and influence to maintain their illicit activities under the guise of respectability. This stark disparity fueled Amelia's desire to seek a different life. Despite limited resources and a lack of support, Amelia focused on her education. She devoured books, educated herself and nurtured her natural curiosity about the world. Amelia realized that knowledge would be her greatest weapon in changing the poverty that struck her family for generations. Amelia's journey was fraught with obstacles and setbacks. She drew strength from her experiences, the struggles she witnessed, and the unwavering support of a few trusted friends who shared her vision for a better future. Through her tenacity and a burning desire for a better future, Amelia became a doctor. She re-located back to her home town where she discovered horrifying information and knew that revealing the truth would not only bring justice to her own family but also shine a light on the systemic issues that perpetuated poverty in her town. NEW EDITION. REVISION IN PROGRESS *amateur writing. Not everyone's cup of tea.* "She turned her pain into power, her visions into victory." "Behind every bad bitch is a sweet girl who got tired of everyone's bullshit." A girl whose past overshadows the present. A boy who loves, but knows not how to show it. A girl who is tired and wants nothing more than freedom. A boy who doesn't want to let go. Family aren't the people you're born to, it's those you're willing to die for, they said. Good thing, Kiara Evergreen isn't willing to die for her family then, not when she's destined to deserve so much better. A tale of love, courage, determination and regret you'll never forget. • • • • • ( Extended description inside... ) __________________________________ Peak Position : WW-1 | PN-1
