Friends to Lovers
Happy Ending
Sarah Dorothy Little has been so over love. Wanting to avoid the empty promises, disappointment, and heartbreak at all costs. She's been fine on her own in her own little world. Navigating college with her friends, feeling free, and living her best life. With parties, late-night drives, and endless Starbucks. Lev Cameron wants the girl of his dreams, wanting nothing more than to shoot his shot, but time isn't exactly on his side. Any glance or fleeting moment quickly turns into something that feels impossible for him to grasp. One day, Lev bumps into Sarah in the campus library, accidentally making a mess of her papers. Starting a new project for one of her classes, he offers to help her. At a later point, they make a proposition. Sarah gets the grade, and Lev gets the girl. Just when things seem simple, things soon become complicated. From late nights to hangouts and sessions, and from stolen glances to magnetic tension, something more begins to blur between them. Suddenly, the line between favors, friendship, and something deeper isn't so clear. Lev questions if the girl he's liked was really worth chasing and realizes she's not who he thought she was. Sarah wonders whether her heart is truly damned and whether she can open it again. What if their worlds were meant to clash after all? How exactly did I end up the best friend of the guy I hated my entire life? Listen, this is going to be a long story. Let me take you to the beginning. The year was 1992... ENEMIES-TO-FRIENDS-TO-LOVERS Victor Manning has been infuriating Becka since she sat behind him in 7th grade English. He's cocky, self-centered, and obnoxious. When High School ends, the college dynamic slowly turns Victor into the one person Becka cannot live without. "The best slow burn I've ever read." YA/NA, for cursing. Set in the 1990s.
