Following the ticket leads Lanessra beyond Saint Marrow and into Pleasure Isle itself: a seductive world of dangerous magic, cult rituals, flying pirate ships, masked dancers, deadly games, and a charismatic ringmaster who seems to know far too much about her.

But the deeper Lanessra falls into the island's enchanting horrors, the more she realizes something terrifying:
