I moved into Apartment 4B on a Tuesday. By Wednesday I couldn't remember my sister's name.

By Thursday I couldn't remember my own.

The apartment isn't haunted (it's hungry) and it takes the things you don't notice until it's gone when you reach for them at 2AM and find nothing there.
