Linnette Ramos never expected her first year out of ER residency to end with the collapse of humanity.

Set in downtown Los Angeles during the first horrifying days of a violent outbreak, The Fall follows Linnette, a twenty-six-year-old Puerto Rican emergency room nurse, and her best friend Omari Baptiste, a pediatric emergency nurse known for his calm heart and unwavering compassion. What begins as an ordinary Friday evening shift quickly spirals into unimaginable chaos when infected patients flood Saint Mercy Medical Center, turning the hospital into a blood-soaked warzone.

Forced to barricade themselves inside Labor & Delivery alongside terrified survivors, exhausted staff, and vulnerable patients, Linnette and Omari must navigate fear, grief, desperation, and the terrifying reality that the outside world is collapsing faster than anyone can understand.

Told through diary entries, shifting perspectives, survivor accounts, and cinematic storytelling, The Fall explores not only the brutality of infection and survival, but the fragile humanity that remains trapped beneath the horror.

As Los Angeles burns and the infected spread through the city like wildfire, Linnette's journal becomes a record of the end of the world... and possibly the beginning of something far worse.
