Some souls are written into each other before the universe even decides what body to put them in.

Two boys. Years of friendship built on borrowed silences and unspoken truths. One ordinary afternoon that ends in extraordinary darkness.

When they wake up, they are not 'where' they should be. They are not 'when' they should be. And the world around them is dying.

Armed with nothing but a mysterious System, a points counter, and the futuristic knowledge of a century that hasn't happened yet, they must save strangers, earn their survival, and somehow outrun the one truth neither of them has ever been brave enough to say aloud.
