Petrichor || Yungi

When Mingi loses his hand, it's Yunho who washes his hair on cold winter nights when the rest of the party sleeps. He bathes him quietly, pouring the basin over his head to wash away the suds. Mingi watches the soap slip through his toes, trailing past the tiles and down the drain in the bathroom of the old church. Yunho hums a low familiar tune as he continues, raking his hands over Mingi's skin. His touch is so light it raises goosebumps along the lengths of Mingi's arms. He cannot tear his gaze away from the soap gathering at his feet.

It's Yunho who feeds him when Mingi refuses to move his stump. Yunho who wakes up a little earlier every morning to lure him out of bed. Yunho who holds the spoon in front of him until he eats. It's Yunho who forces him to leave the comfort of his bed for just a few minutes a day; forces him to stand in the garden while he smokes the last of the cigarettes in the pack he stole from Wooyoung.
