"Aapko kabhi hansi bhi aati hai?"

Miral asked, tilting her head as she looked at him with genuine curiosity.

Professor Izan Baig didn't even look up from the papers in his hand.

"Class starts at eight."

"Main ne waqt nahi poocha."

A brief silence followed.

Then, without changing his expression, he replied,

"Mujhe bhi."

Miral stared at him in disbelief.

"...Allah kasam, is aadmi se zyada boring insaan maine aaj tak nahi dekha."
