You never understood the appeal of horror movies. The screaming, the bad decisions, the predictable jump scares, it all felt ridiculous to you.

Unfortunately for you, your best friend lives for them.

So when they insist you have to watch their all-time favorite movie, Scream, you resign yourself to an evening of boredom, sarcastic commentary, and eventually falling asleep halfway through.
