After a devastating plane crash leaves a group of boys stranded on an isolated island, two sisters become part of the chaos fatefully unfolding from the events of Lord of the Flies.

Thirteen-year-old Briella "Bri" Davis is determined to protect her younger sister at all costs, even as fear, hunger, and violence slowly consume the island. Quincy "Quin" Davis, gentle yet observant, clings tightly to the people who still carry kindness within them.

As civilization begins to crumble, unexpected bonds begin to form. Bri finds herself drawn toward Ralph-the boy desperately trying to keep everyone together-while Quin grows close to the quiet and compassionate Simon, whose gentleness feels increasingly rare in a world turning savage.
