THINGS ABOVE C-13

3:13 a.m.

That's when the knocking starts.

Audrey Rowan doesn't believe in dark structures . Not until she moves into Thron- Field Dormitory at Blackthorn University and the walls start breathing back.

Every night, at exactly 3:13, someone knocks on her door. Three slow knocks. When Audrey opens it, there's no one there-only a hallway that seems to stretch farther the longer she stares.

Then the photographs start changing. Red eyes appear in the background. Rooms show up where walls should be. Students whisper about Room C-13, a place that doesn't exist ...

Her phone lights up with a text from an unknown number: DON'T LOOK UP.

She looks up anyway.

At 3:13 a.m., something in THORN FIELD wakes. And it's been waiting for her.
