15 year old Ashleen lives with her little sister Jillian and abusive father. Ashleen was told her mother died in a car crash. When her father threatens to hit Jillian one night Ashleen decides to run away with her sister. When her friend asks about her mothers death they decide to research it, only finding that there was no car crash the day her father said her mom died. Now Ashleen must find the truth of how her mother died.
