The Rules You Gave Me

Kim Chaewon had rules.

Six of them, written neatly on a sheet of paper and handed to Kazuha the night they signed the contract.

No real feelings.
No unnecessary touching.
No questions about the past.
No crossing the line between fake and real.

It was simple: pretend to be Chaewon's girlfriend long enough to make her ex regret leaving her, and in return, Kazuha gets paid. Professional. Temporary. Controlled.

At least, that was the plan.

But somewhere between staged dates, late-night phone calls, and moments that didn't feel rehearsed anymore, the rules started disappearing one by one.
