"New but Never Wanted" is about Kang Chung-ha, a 27 year old woman who has always had things, problems that never her way. She lost friendships, lost her family, her job, her once loving boyfriend, who had destroyed everything that she worked for. She vowed to never have another boyfriend again because of the deep trauma it gave her, she never got good things for herself. One day, she meets a guy at a Bar in Gangnam, South Korea who changed her mind otherwise.

But, luckily a guy named Choi Baek-Hyeon comes to her rescue. A 35 year old business man who has nothing but business, work in his life. Baek-Hyeon comes in the bar just looking for another casual day in his favorite bar and the favorite food. When he meets the Love of His Life, Kang Chung-Ha.
