Icarus D. Midoriya-Middleton spent most of his life waiting for a Quirk that never seemed to come. With his sharp-tongued girlfriend Kyoka Jiro by his side, Icarus begins learning how to stop hiding, embrace his strength, and become the hero he always dreamed of being.

As he prepares for U.A. National University of Professional Heroics, Icarus must face jealous rivals, fake friends, old wounds, and the legacy of a family tied deeper to hero history than he ever knew. He is not trying to become cold, perfect, or untouchable. He wants to be kind, brave, and strong enough to protect the people who need him.
