I wrote this story back in 2022 during my Freshman year of high school (lol) and nearly left it unfinished until I was reminded of it recently. I think it was fairly creative but also quite basic if that makes sense lol. This story follows the main character, Ralph, from Lord of the Flies by William Golding. Here, he has survived the island, but at what cost? And how has the island affected those off of it? How will the boys on the island react to a return to normalcy? Everyone copes differently and this story sort of explores that. I hope you enjoy! 💖
Also I'm lowk js copying this over from my Google Docs so it's not maintaining its original format 💔 a lot of the stuff that was bolded or italicized doesn't copy over but I don't really feel like fixing every single instance so I apologize if smth seems janky.

This adaptation follows the same general premise and conflicts of the original novel, but it is written purely from my imagination. The characters keep the names Lena and Miu instead of the original names from the novel. Since I haven't been able to find a full English adaptation or translation of the novel, this story is based only on the summary and a few excerpts I have come across.
