After Charlie Morningstar panics in front of the paparazzi, she accidentally announces a grand gala to the entire media-one she has absolutely no plan for. With pressure mounting and the hotel's reputation on the line, she turns to the only two beings chaotic enough to help: Alastor and Lucifer, who are two powerful forces who can barely stand each other. But as the hotel is pushed into the public eye, Vox sees an opportunity. Turning the situation into a publicity war, he begins targeting the hotel for his own gain, and he won't hesitate to exploit Charlie's biggest weakness. Forced to cooperate for the sake of the hotel (and Charlie's sanity), Lucifer and Alastor must navigate their rivalry while keeping everything from spiraling into disaster. But when old tensions, buried history, and unexpected truths start surfacing, keeping things professional might be impossible.
