Cata ran through an opening that lead to a dark corridor. She could hear her twin, Cato, chasing her in the distance. A small stack of stairs were elevating in a spiral pattern far up into the castle. Cata felt a tight knot grow in her stomach that made her stop in the center of the staircase, and crouch into a small ball holding her stomach. She held a small locket her mother gave her years ago to her breast. Cato's foot steps were getting closer and closer by the minuets. Cata's next move was not discoverable yet, for she was in excruciating pain that led from her stomach to her head. Now the pain was going to her toes, and she looked to see her skin turning a dark blue.

The man whistles away as he walks past the dead body of the security guard in the lobby to the snowy road outside the building. His victim crawls out of the closing elevator. The curse is true.
