Brynne Morgan has exactly one semester left before graduation, and she refuses to let anything derail her future. Not Harvard's impossible workload. Not her senior capstone. And definitely not Rowan Hayes-the annoyingly observant hockey captain she's been paired with for the most important project of her academic career. Rowan isn't supposed to matter. But somewhere between late-night case briefs, campus protests, hockey games, and stolen moments neither of them expected, Brynne begins lowering walls she spent years building. Then the anonymous messages start. As someone from Brynne's past forces his way back into her life, the carefully controlled world she's created begins to crack. With danger closing in and old wounds resurfacing, Rowan becomes the one person she can't seem to push away. The problem is that trusting someone means giving them the power to hurt you. And Brynne has learned that lesson before.
