A hasty, cold winter attacked the homes in the streets on London in November 2015. There was snow and ice, hailstones and sleet. There was no warm.

But it only got colder, especially on the 17th; the day Matthew Fields came back into town.

Matthew had been nothing but trouble his whole life. And being such a trouble, his parent's couldn't cope - nor could three sets of adoptive parents. As a child, he would tantrum. As a teenager, he would rage and cause havoc, visiting the police station at least once a month. As an adult, part of his determination to be bad turns into his determination for the truth.

Matthew comes in search of contact with his real parents but on the way digs up trouble from the past, making the winter that load more icy.
