But she died when Emma was 14 and her dance school shut down .Emma decided that in honor of her mom she would start dancing and she found out that dance was what she was missing in her life. She found out that dance was the one thing she could use to express her feelings. And she had a lot of feelings to express....especially about her dad. Her dream is to attend Julliard but there's one problem..her dad. He lost it after her mom's death. He started drinking and one night he did something he never would have imagined doing.

I shut my locker and started making my way towards my next class . I was already late and the hallway was almost empty . I picked up my pace . Suddenly a loud thump came from behind me and an immense crushing pain seared through my back . I was slammed in the lockers . I closed my eyes from the sudden contact and pain . Opening my eyes I groaned . The breathe left me all at once . He was the one who pushed . His eyes held so many emotions . anger , hatred and betrayal .
