I am Erieca Sayelle Vasco, a psychology student at the University of the Philippines. I have a small circle of friends, all of whom excel academically.
Kung nasaan ang mga kaibigan ko nandoon din ako, because I am too afraid of change, afraid that everything we built as best friends could break and collapse in an instant. Kaya kinuha ko ang kurso na ito.
But every lesson hits hard, leaving guilt in my blood and a question I cannot answer: Para saakin ba ang Siklohista?
Maybe I do not belong here. They say psychology is for the good, the patient, the ones who heal others from within. But I am not that girl-just someone they see as loud, restless, and red-haired, never quite fitting the image.
And yet, I met him Rylier Daxiel. When I am with him, I feel a peace I have always searched for, as if life finally softens.
But at dawn, when light begins to rise, there is a ghost beside him-one that never fades. And I fear that when time swallows it, it will no longer be two faces, but one, resembling something from my past.
And maybe the sky never asks permission to give love or peace. Or maybe I was never meant to keep them-only to stand alone. Still, I swallow it all at dawn.
