I Still Believe in Slow Love

I keep wondering if love is even real anymore... or if I just grew up believing in something the world no longer practices.

In a generation of talking stages, temporary everything, and people who leave before they're left... I learned to leave first.

But deep down, I still want the slow kind of love. The intentional kind. The kind that stays.

Maybe that's my problem. Or maybe it's the only thing I refuse to let the world take from me.
