Perfect experiment

One ordinary school day was all it took for Zoe's world to shatter. When her best friend, Hannah, mysteriously vanishes after a ruined movie date, Zoe refuses to sit around and wait. Following a trail into the woods, she discovers a terrifying clue: Hannah's handmade beaded bracelet, dropped right outside the gates of a chilling, abandoned military laboratory.
Desperate for answers, Zoe sneaks inside the dark facility, only to find remnants of horrific biological experiments. But before she can find Hannah, footsteps echo down the hall. Panicked, Zoe grabs two mysterious syringes from a lab counter and flees into the night.
She barely makes it home. Plagued by a severe chronic illness, the frantic escape triggers a medical emergency, and Zoe collapses unconscious on her bedroom floor. In a blind panic to save her life, Zoe's sister grabs one of the stolen syringes by mistake and injects it directly into her veins.
Meanwhile, something sinister has been unleashed. Zoe doesn't realize she dropped the second syringe in
