This is a re write from my original story UNTOUCHED- A WALKING DEAD STORY
On Day One, Rick Grimes got shot and took a 3 Month-long nap. He woke up to a ruined hospital, dead people walking around, and a global apocalypse he completely missed the memo on. Talk about shitty timing.
Desperate to find his family, Rick hits the road and stumbles across a deserted farmhouse. He expected supplies. Instead, he finds Evie, who looks like she's two seconds away from losing her mind or stabbing him in the throat. She's panicked, fiercely guarded, and screaming at him to back the fuck off.
Rick is already sleep-deprived and overwhelmed, but he refuses to leave a kid behind in a literal shitshow.
He forces her to tag along, thinking he's just protecting a traumatized, highly aggressive teenager with an attitude problem. He has absolutely no fucking clue that behind her panicked exterior, Evie is harboring a secret that defies the laws of nature.
