"You drive me absolutely crazy," she breathed close to my ear, her voice heavy with desire, sending shivers down my spine. The scent of jasmine and vanilla enveloped us, but more than that, I felt the expert hands pressing firmly against my skin, holding me captive. My breath hitched at her sudden movements, and before I knew it, silk was gliding against my back, the softness of a mattress beneath me. "I-" I whispered, but her lips claimed mine before I could finish. Lenora kissed me with fierce passion, tinged with tender intimacy that made my head spin... my heart threatened to burst, yet I didn't care-the intense frenzy consumed us, and I reveled in it. Just this once, I'd savor this morning. Tomorrow, I'd return to my cool, composed persona-the one no one ever sees behind-our secret. So I returned her kiss with equal ardor, embracing the heat she offered. Whatever tomorrow brings, for now, this moment belongs to us.

"You ever think about how weird feelings are?" Maya asked quietly. Jade tensed. "What kind of feelings?" "Like... when you're around someone and your stomach just..." Maya made a vague explosion noise with her mouth. "You know?" "Like food poisoning?" Maya shoved her gently. "You're impossible." Jade smirked, but it faltered when she saw the way Maya was looking at her. Eyes open. Bare. Something unspoken balancing on the edge of her lips. Jade turned away too quickly. "Feelings are overrated." "You don't mean that." "No," Jade admitted. "I don't."
