Story Description Ella has always felt different. Not because she wanted to be. Not because she tried to be. But because something inside her never seemed to fit into the ordinary world around her. Raised by a human family, Ella lives a quiet life filled with unanswered questions, strange dreams, and a loneliness she can't explain. She has no idea that hidden eyes have been watching her from the shadows for years. Far away, secrets buried long ago are beginning to resurface. A powerful Alpha searches for the daughter he lost. A mysterious uncle emerges from hiding. Old enemies awaken. And a pair of crimson eyes continue to watch from the darkness. As fate slowly pulls Ella toward a truth everyone tried to keep hidden, she will discover that some secrets were never meant to stay buried. But in a world where loyalty is fragile, power is dangerous, and blood remembers what the mind forgets... Will Ella survive the truth about who she really is? Or will the darkness hunting her finally catch up? Sometimes, the most terrifying monsters aren't the ones hiding in the shadows. They're the ones hiding inside us.

**Watty Honorable Mention/Undiscovered Gem** He lies awake in bed, thoughts of her still overpowering his brain. He wants her back lying next to him. He needs to feel her touch just one last time and maybe then he could move on. But that's not possible because wounds like these never heal; they only deepen and get worse with time. He could tell himself that he would be okay. He could tell himself that she was in a better place now but that still didn't help the fact that she was gone..... ~~~~~ Highest Ranking-> #647 in Teen Fiction (9/6/15)
