Amongst the 2014 One Direction Where We Are world tour, drummer Ashton Irwin is struggling with his mental health. This time, it's worse than it has been in years. Trying to hold it together for the sake of the band, Ashton internalizes his struggles until they become physical. In the summer heat and through their performances, it becomes more and more difficult to hide.

as Luke once did when they were teenagers, he's the first to notice. Hesitant to interfere, Luke approaches Ashton through simply strengthening their friendship. As their friendship flourishes into something more, Ashton takes a turn for the worse as he worries what this might mean for their career and the trajectory of the rest of their lives.
