Tormented

"Adia, how was it?" One reporter ask while I walked down the stairs of the courtroom holding on to one of the body guards and hiding in between the others .
" What was it like living with him" Another reporter ask as I was getting in the car.
"Did you fall in love with Mr. August."
One reporter ask as i closed the car door. I rolled down the window and answered the question because that hit somewhere in my heart.
"Would you love the person who held you in his torture chambers while everyone lived their lives of luxury ? And now that your life has been ruined you have to struggle to graduate college and be known for something that happened to you instead of what you did." And with that I rolled the window up.
