A Battle Against the Odds

Bakugou is exhausted. Tired of fighting alone, tired of climbing all the way to the top just to fall right back down again. Tired of questioning whether he is a bad person or if it's just his mother trying to get in his head.

Sick of being their slave. Sick of hiding in the dark, wondering, hoping, silently pleading, that someday, somehow, someone will throw down a rope, and help him out of this hole for good.

This is a bit of a self-insert in a way, but I tried to keep Bakugou's character as close to canon as possible, with a bit of my own interpretations and also still attempting to keep it in line with my story.
