These powerful robots were power by Getter energy-a strange power that played a part of the evolution on the earth. Unfortunately, these power giants were lost when Dr. Saotome disappeared. That was almost 30 years ago, and no one was able to find these legendary robots.

A young man finds himself teleported to an alternate world set 25 years in the past. His name is Rain Harts, a Black-American delinquent who suddenly becomes part of the Muv Luv universe and one of the chosen candidates to pilot a Getter Unit.
