After the events of Super Mario & WALL-E: Echoes Beyond the Stars, peace has finally returned.
The Earth is slowly recovering. WALL-E and EVE continue helping rebuild the world alongside the humans of the Axiom, while Mario, Luigi, Peach, and the Toads enjoy a well-earned time of peace in the Mushroom Kingdom.
But far beyond the stars, a new mystery is awakening.
When strange cosmic phenomena begin appearing across the universe, Mario and his friends are drawn into a brand-new adventure inspired by the legendary Star Festival. Along the way, they will meet unexpected allies, including ROZZUM Unit 7134 (Roz) from The Wild Robot, Steve from Minecraft, Jesse from Minecraft: Story Mode, Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde from Zootopia, and many others.
With Yoshi joining the journey and Bowser once again seeking power among the stars, the heroes must explore mysterious wild galaxies filled with ancient secrets, forgotten worlds, and new forms of life.
As nature and technology collide across the cosmos, Mario and his friends will discover that every new life truly inherits the memory of stardust.
