The Slythe

The Ferynn have discovered a weakness among their kind.
They hunt to feed their mountain settlements, but injury is inevitable.
And when their hunters return, they are not the same.

Their magic is bound to the forest-an unseen network that warns them of thirst, of predators, of imbalance in the land. But when blood is drained from their bodies, that connection falters. The forest goes silent.

And in that silence, something else begins to take its place.
