Memento Vivere on a Starry Night

Scientist Dr. Kim Tael-hwa develops a supercomputer through which he sends whistle-like sound signals into space, hoping to attract extraterrestrial life. When he receives a response, his colleagues ridicule him, but his wife, Kim Tanya also a scientist believes in him. She is eight months pregnant and has left her career, now staying at home.

While driving home, an alien spaceship appears overhead shortly after responding to his signals, confirming his success. His joy is cut short by human selfishness, as they capture the pregnant alien left behind by its kind and begin experimenting on her.
