I stood over the icy cliffs and watched the waves crash and spit white, foamy water on the rocks. In the distance I saw an island that looked...mysterious? No that’s not the right word... it looked enchanted. I stould there and stared at the elusive island in the mist. What was it? Why am I seeing it? Where am I?

The wooden floorboards creak underneath my footsteps as I walk down the abandoned hallway, my flashlight swinging back and forth in front of me. Lanewood Academy
There the building stood, along with 2 dorm buildings - One for Females, the other Males. The school sign was right along side them, reading LANEWOOD ACADEMY BOARDING SCHOOL. The campus was simple; the 2 dorms stood just in front of the towering forest behind them, which then led to the LONG ISLAND SOUND BEACH on the other side of the forest. Across the luscious green grass from the dorms stood the main building where all the classes were located. The 3 buildings made a circle, in the middle of the green was a fountain with flower bushes of all types. Some people already had a nickname for the academy - the school of the strange. The students there, well.. some were rather.. odd. And some students this year realize they are some of them when they find who they are... The hand gripping my wrist, the lips pressing against mine-gone. And I was left standing there, completely stunned. It felt as though I had forgotten my own name. I started to tremble. My legs gave out beneath me, and I collapsed to the ground. Sitting there, shaking in shock, I finally understood what he was.

I woke up on a piece of driftwood cold and wet but alive. My head hurt I hissed in pain and looked around there were boys around me fifteen to be precise. I heard whispers come from all around me. Then a boy walked up everyone moved out of their way clearly the leader I got up. Who are you? The boy asked with a slight British accent. Only slightly though almost like it wasn't there. Amelia. I said he nodded. Tom. He said I looked around. Where am I? I asked he sighed. The island of no return. The boy said a shiver when down my spine.
