Reagan Martin is 20 years old who is currently is in med school as she graduated with a major in Biology and a minor in English. She lives with her college boyfriend Tyler who is not what he seems behind closed doors. Her mother died of breast cancer and she only has one older brother named Christian Coma who left home to pursue his dreams with his band, Black Veil Brides. She is invited to attend her brother's concert and an after party to celebrate the end of tour. During the performance, she locks eyes with the lead singer Andy Biersack. They have another moment at the party before excusing herself from the party. She comes home which she experienced abuse from her boyfriend. Tired, she leaves and settles down with one of her friend's place. Her brother offers her to stay with him for the meantime until she can find a new place. Living with her brother proves to be a challenge as Andy stirs up these feelings but Reagan is not looking for something at the moment.
