# The Girl Who Stayed

Diana Hopper has always been different.

Before she was Diana, she was Number Five.

An experiment. A child without a name. A girl who escaped Hawkins Lab alongside Eleven.

Now she's trying to live a normal life. She attends Hawkins High, works at Family Video, and has finally found friends who feel like family.

But Hawkins has never been a normal town.

As darkness begins to rise beneath the surface once again, Diana finds herself pulled back into secrets she thought were buried for good.

And in the middle of it all is Eddie Munson.

The boy everyone calls a freak.

The boy nobody believes.

The boy she might be falling for.

When Hawkins stands on the edge of destruction, Diana must choose between the past she escaped and the people she refuses to lose.

Because this time, she isn't the girl who ran away.

She's the girl who stayed.
