Something about the first year of high school

Freshman year was supposed to be simple.
For best friends Benj, Eddie, Connor, and Danah, high school feels like the beginning of everything they've been waiting for-the chance to reinvent themselves, chase their dreams, and finally become the people they want to be.
Benj is determined to get closer to Lola, the girl he's never been able to forget. Danah is tired of living in his older brother's shadow and wants to prove he can stand out on his own-especially to the older crowd he's desperate to impress. Meanwhile, Eddie and Connor are done being the boys no one notices, hoping high school will finally give them confidence, respect, and a place to belong.
But as parties, heartbreaks, rumors, and unexpected friendships begin to blur the line between who they are and who they want to be, the four friends quickly learn that growing up is messier than they imagined. And by the end of freshman year, none of them will be the same.
