Rose has never believed in happy endings. Her parents passed away when she was ten, and she was sent to live in foster home after foster home. She grew up with the disadvantage of never having a permanent family or a permanent place to live. Tom Wilson plays for the Washington Capitals. When he meets Rose, he is blown away by her beauty and mystique. He's a go getter and a happy-go-lucky guy. The complete opposite of Rose. Can he convince her that happy endings do exist?

He knew that it was going to be a long damp summer filled with long days of learning lines and equally long nights of frozen meals for one.... One night away from reality for both was about to show them, they really didn't know very much at all......
