Scripted to Love You

Leon had been called a lot of things over the years, and none of them had ever been said with any kindness behind them, so when a system materialized out of nowhere and opened with "human waste," he barely blinked because honestly it wasn't even close to the worst thing he'd heard on a regular Tuesday.

What he didn't expect was for it to follow that up with something that almost sounded like a purpose.

Not a hero, not someone destined for greatness, just the rival and the first love, the guy written into someone else's story to make the main lead's heart ache before the real ending starts, and Leon figured that was fine because he'd spent his whole life being the person that other people moved on from anyway, so at least now there was a system handing him a script for it.

World after world he gets dropped into lives that were never built around him, playing a role that's supposed to end with him stepping aside, and he's mostly okay with that, except for the part where the main leads keep looking at him like he wasn't supposed to matter this much and neither of them planned for this.
