The group chat without me

The Group Chat Without Me

Description

Brianna thought she finally found her people.

The girls she laughed with every day. The girls she defended. The girls she trusted with her secrets.

At least, that's what she thought.

One night, while scrolling through social media, she notices something strange. Photos from a hangout she was never invited to. Inside jokes she doesn't understand. Conversations that seem to have happened without her.

Then she discovers the truth.

There's another group chat.

A group chat with all of her friends.

Except her.

At first, she tells herself it's probably nothing. But when screenshots begin finding their way to her phone, she realizes the people she trusted most have been talking about her for months.

Her secrets.

Her relationships.

Her insecurities.

Everything.

Now Brianna is left wondering what hurts more: the things they said or the fact that they smiled in her face while saying them.

As friendships begin falling apart and loyalties are tested, one question remains:

Who leaked the screenshots... and why?
