Humanity has fled to the Nexus galaxy, where unlimited resources has helped them conquer the stars. But the Void followed them, thirsting to consume their consciousness.
Rescued from a life of servitude, Aven Artorison has dedicated his life as a sky monk to defending the Nameless civilians from the Void. With no power of their own, the citizens of his nation, Nuveria, rely on the Aprori fighters in the sky, and the Echelon warriors in space.
Aven dreams of one day being strong enough to join the elite Echelon fleets in battle, like the legendary soldiers who saved him.
But when a disastrous attack tears away his sheltered way of life, Aven soon finds that the very elite faction he sought to join, are the same forces who mean to sacrifice his people to the Void for Ascension.
Now, another attack looms. To defend the Nameless, Aven must ally with his fellow Aprori fighters across the galaxy, corrupt politicians, and mad warlords in space to defeat the Void, or the Nexus may not survive the next attack.
